You can easily get to Unterstalden (hamlet near Visp in the direction of Visperterminen) by car or public transport, whichever you prefer.

Arrival by car:

Once you have arrived in the small town of Visp and done the last of your shopping, drive in the direction of Visperterminen. After a 6 to 7 minute drive, you will find public, paid parking spaces right next to the St. Jodernkellerei and, if these are full, there are more at the end of the hamlet shortly after the Unterstalden sign.

 

The post office stop in the hamlet of Unterstalden is a good place to unload your luggage.

Please do not stop or park your car in the private parking spaces.

 

From the public parking lots it is only a 7-minute walk to the apartment (see sketch below, Unterstalden 24, first floor).

If you want to find the apartment on your own, the Unterstalden bus stop is the best starting point for the short walk. Turn west and you will see a small church. Now walk towards it. Once you have reached it, continue to the right (heading north). Follow the paved path for about 100 m to the end of the pavement.

Turn left here and you will find the apartment 15 meters away on the first floor. The sign “ine Stale - Sabina” on the doorbell confirms that you have found the apartment.

For longer stays, we recommend the municipal parking card, which allows you to park at a reduced rate in all public parking lots in the entire municipal area. We will be happy to provide you with the card in advance - just let us know.

​Visp is actually quite easy and quick to reach by train from anywhere. Take the bus (Postbus) from Visp station in the direction of Visperterminen to the Unterstalden stop, which takes about 8 minutes.
