Shopping | Eating

Visp has good shopping opportunities and restaurants to suit all tastes. If you have a special request, we will be happy to share our tips with you.

In the village of Visperterminen (affectionately called “Tärbinu” by us) there is a small shop, a dairy, a Raiffeisen bank, a sports shop and two restaurants.

If you are planning a visit to a restaurant, we will be happy to advise you.

Guest card

With the guest card there are various discounts in and around Visperterminen
This tariff, which is mandatory for guests, is already included in our overnight price and we will put the cards on the table for you in the holiday apartment beforehand.

What about smoking?

Unfortunately, smoking is not permitted in our little refuge.

We try to keep the air as pure as our guests' intentions (and that's pretty pure, we promise!). Of course, we understand that this news may be like a wet cigarette butt to some, but we hope you understand our efforts to be a breath of fresh air.

Where to put the waste?

Glass

You can throw bottles etc. into the appropriate containers at the collection point at the St. Jodernkellerei.

Cardboard, paper

You can leave cardboard and paper in the apartment. We will be happy to dispose of it for you.

Household waste

Garbage may only be disposed of in the orange bags, which are subject to a fee. You already have one in your garbage can, and you can buy more in all grocery stores. Please throw the bags in the garbage container (garbage can) below the upper parking lot. The following sketch shows the exact location.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, no animal companions are allowed in our little paradise.

We understand that pets are often more than just furry friends - they are family members, therapists, and sometimes even the ones who greet us with a wagging tail or a happy meow after a long day at work.

But here it's like forbidding a fish from flying - it just doesn't work. Our small ecosystem here is designed to provide a relaxed and harmonious retreat for people, and unfortunately that excludes the small but lovable furry friends.

For now, we hope that you will still open the doors to our animal-free heaven and that we will soon be able to welcome you as our animal-free guest. We promise that we will try to fill the gap that your furry friend would leave behind with a smile and good humor.

How do I use the key safe?

If we cannot greet you personally, you will find the apartment key in the key safe (Burg Wächter) to the left of the entrance door.

Push the protective flap down (it gets stuck a little)
Set code with adjustment wheels
Press the black lever to the left of the adjustment wheels down
Remove the key and fold the housing back in
To close, adjust the adjustment wheels again
